Anne Graham Lotz – Jesus In Me: Her New Book

JESUS IN ME: Experiencing the Holy Spirit as a Constant Companion – I got my book early and was so glad I did.

In this day of depression, confusion, & ungodly influences we need hope. Anne Graham Lotz has shared her personal experiences and has shown where that hope comes from. She shares how she received strength, hope, love, & guidance through the Person of the Holy Spirit.

She shows that a daily walk and personal relationship with Jesus helps us to develop and maintain our faith. Our first step is to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Then allowing the Holy Spirit to come along side us to be our helper.

God has used Anne through this book to show that there is hope and that once you make that commitment to Christ you will not be left alone.

John 14:26-27 New International Version (NIV)

But the Advocate, The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

As Anne writes, “One of my deepest, richest joys has been discovering by experience who the Holy Spirit is in every step of my life’s journey. Each name that He has been given—Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener, and Standby—reveals another aspect of His beautiful character and has provoked in me a deep love for the One who is my constant Companion . . . Jesus in me.”

This book will revolutionize your relationship with The Holy Spirit. I love the tools she put at the end of the book. Appendix A: Learning how to hear the Holy Spirit’s Whispers when you read the Bible. Appendix B: Learning how to be filled and stay filled with The Holy Spirit. Appendix C: A self-examination of personal sin. Appendix D: Gifts of the Spirit.

It’s Time To Pray – Not just a good quote

IMG_68ADCDC7810B-1.jpeg

We have had the privilege to meet Pastor Carter & Teresa Conlon.  Our lives have been impacted by them both. In this day of confusion, compromise, & self focus, these two have been an example of true christianity. They are honest & humble people giving their lives “For The Benefit of Others”.

I am excited about Pastor Carters new book coming out November 6th. My husband & I have been doing the YouVersion devotional plan and have been changed in our hearts. I can say so many nice things about Pastor Carter & Teresa, but I think they would rather the focus be on Christ and what He can do for you. That is the type of People they are. Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I believe this book is coming out for such a time as this, so pre-order yours today.

Pastor Len Paxton

“Pastor Carter Conlon is a true man of God who lives what he preaches. He has been given a special anointing of the Holy Spirit to deliver the Word of God with straightforwardness and authority yet with mercy and grace. When this man preaches, you know you have truly heard from God’s throne.”

The Chain Breaker Changes Lives

31531644_10209975310054144_1729519038733746176_n.jpg

Recently my Husband & I went to a Zach Williams concert & also saw an interview he did about his life. Once thing stuck out to me, The Chain breaker produces a change life. Zach talked about how his life was filled with choices that took him away from God, his family, & the dreams he had in his life. He shared how he got into the party life. He lost his scholarship he got for basketball. He started a band and the party life style got more a part of his life than God & his family. Finally when he got to the bottom and was about to loose his marriage & children, God moved on his life. What came next is what touched my heart.

Zach talked about how God reached out to him. He had never left Zach. God was right there through all those choices he made. When Zach finally surrendered to God’s calling, he walked out on the band he was in and went home a changed man. He wrote these following songs that have changed many lives.

Chain Breaker –

If you’ve been walking the same old road for miles and miles

If you’ve been hearing the same old voice tell the same old lies

If you’re trying to feel the same old holes inside

There’s a better life

There’s a better life

If you’ve got pain

He’s a pain taker

If you feel lost

He’s a way maker

If you need freedom or saving

He’s a prison-shaking Savior

If you’ve got chains

He’s a chain breaker

God wants you to have a better life. There is one that wants you to lose everything. But THE Chain Breaker, Jesus Christ, came so you could have life.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

He is your pain taker. He took your pain on The Cross.

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 John 3:8  For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Song of Deliverance –

Hard times and high waters

On the road that I have wandered

Bridges left burning

A lot of dead-end learning

Stone walls, I’ve built up

Trapped by the way I’ve been livin’

I don’t wanna be a prisoner

I don’t wanna be a prisoner

I will sing a song of deliverance

I will lift my hands and drop these chains

Walk out free in Jesus name

I will sing a song of deliverance

Whoa, Hallelujah

Whoa-ho, I am free

Romans 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Galatians 5:1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Freedom –

I felt the flames, I heard death knocking

My hands were tied, my feet were bound

Buried alive, covered in ashes

My soul was 6 feet under ground

Then you rolled that stone away

You pulled me from the grave

Praise the Lord I saw the light

And I’ll never be the same

The devil whisper little lies

He tried to steal my victory

But I starred those demons in the eyes

Cause these boots gonna crush the enemy

I got that freedom, freedom in my soul

I got that fire, fire in my bones

I got that resurrection

Got that hallelujah

I got that freedom, freedom in my soul

Got that resurrection

Got that hallelujah

Got that new creation

Got that the blood of Jesus

Got that fire burning

Got that holy spirit

Got that Sunday’s coming and I can’t stop singin’

Freedom, freedom in my soul

I got that fire, fire in my bones

I got that resurrection

Got that hallelujah

I got that freedom, freedom in my soul

This song has the death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus in it. Thank God that because of what Jesus did we can have a changed life. We once were dead and now are alive. We once were lost and now we are found.

This last one is a song and a prayer for many. For those who have surrendered to Jesus and what He did for us have felt this song deeply. There are time when we fall on our knees and pray this song.

Wash Clean –

Father open up my eyes

So I might truly see

Everything you have done for me

Lord I’m tired and I’m torn

My face is on the floor

Break these chains and set me free

Father take away my pride

Just set it all aside

So I might hear what you have to say

Lord I’m tired if all my guilt

I’m tired of all my shame

Break these chains and set me free

Cause I been living a lie that I just couldn’t see

And holding on to things that I just didn’t need

But you took these hands and washed them clean

Oh like a blind man lost in the middle of the night

You came down and you opened my eyes

And I won’t ever be the same

Oh that’s what Jesus

Jesus did for me

Solo over verse

So now I’ve opened up my eyes

And swallowed all my pride

I finally let you lead the way

And I fall down on my knees

I’m just a Brother of your Grace

And I won’t ever be the same

Going to the concerts and listing to Zach’s life story really shows how God can turn a life around, Save a family, and touch many through Zach’s story and songs. The Chain Breaker Jesus Christ has changed my life and so many others. My prayer is as others hear Zach’s story and songs they too will meet The ONLY true Chain Breaker…. JESUS CHRIST! #ChainBreaker

Thanks Zach for sharing your life with us all and for these powerful songs.

The Newsboys United – The Cross

29342230_10209738085683683_3314696033514029056_n-2.jpg

Recently my husband and I went to The Newsboys United tour. It was one of the places we went for our 25th anniversary. We don’t always go VIP, but this time we did. What a great experience we had.

One highlight was being in the question and answer session with hundreds of other people. Every time someone got up and ask a question they also gave a testimony on how their life was changed or touched by the Newsboys music and by their daily walk with this Lord.

Music can be a powerful thing. But music with no anointing is just music. The Newsboys United Tour is more than just music. The Band truly plays for The Lord. They are very humble and thankful for what God has done in their lives.

One of the songs that still is in my head each morning when I awake is “The Cross Has The Final Word”.  They started the song out with a video of Billy Graham. He talked about The Cross and how cruel it was of all punishments. How Jesus was made fun of, mocked, beaten, and so much more. How through Jesus we can have forgiveness of sin. He could have come down off the Cross at any moment. But He stayed there for everyone. He loves you. Only through Jesus is there any hope & forgiveness of sin. Many say is there any hope for me, the drunk, prostitute, robbers, murders, people who have done evil things privately and corporately. Is there any hope for you and I? The Cross is the only way!!!!

Then the Newsboys came out and did their song. What a powerful moment. We used our cell phone and video taped it. May this video move you to a respose to Jesus and what He did at the Cross. The Cross surely has the final word!!! You can be set free today. Your life can be changed. You can be forgive. Surrender to Jesus and what He did for you in LOVE….

Third Day Farewell Tour 2018

10561711_10202527064198316_3873353169925046368_n.jpg

I hear about a lot of farewell tours but this one has me thinking a lot about life. My husband & I have had the privilege of meeting Third Day. Third Day has been around 25 years. My Husband & I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary this year. We are doing our own tour this year to celebrate our 25 yrs. It’s not final tour but it is a kick off for our next assignment from the Lord. Just like Third Day they too will have new adventures for God in their lives.

It was such a blessing for us to go to see Third Day at many concerts. The experience was more than just watch & listening to music. Third Day reaches out to those who have not received Christ & causes those who do know Christ to go deeper in their walk. They spark revival and fire in your soul.

God has used this band to bring liberty & freedom to many. Even though this is called a farewell tour, I think just like their name says, Yes it is the Third Day & Sunday is here. This is a new beginning for them and a new chapter in their lives. We will continue to pray for them and for God to continue to use them mightily in their new season of life.

So make plans today to join them in this tribute to their fans. Below is a link to more information and some live concerts.

A Band who Brings Hope: Carrollton

shelter-cover.jpg

One of our Favorite bands is Carrollton. Their new album will be coming out soon and I am so excited about it. I love this new single called “Shelter”

Just a few of the lyrics:

In the valley of the shadow where my plans turn to dust. When I am walking through the unknown in the waiting I will trust. When the sky falls, when the flood comes, let the rushing water rise. When my soul is warn and weary and I have no place to hind, I KNOW YOU WON’T LET ME GO. Fortress for my soul, my Helper, You are my Shelter. You are my HOPE, My Anchor in the storm….

This song sure brings hope to the listener. I can’t wait to be there live at one of their concerts and sing this with the rest of the body of Christ. We have been at many of Carrollton’s concerts and they truly are anointed to bring people into the presence of God. The time of worship is amazing when you feel & see the whole audience raising their hands in total surrender to what God is doing in that very moment. Lives are being changed from the inside out!

“Despair but hope, doubt but faith. Life gives us unbelievable joys and deep sorrows, yet God keeps on.The band Carrollton, tells this truth through honest, open-handed songs born of questions, wonders and struggle.”(Taken from Their website)

“The message of what we’re doing is that we believe God is with us in the good and the bad, and often in the mundane in-between” Justin says. “We’re trying to share that with people. We just want to put our hearts out there and see hope rise up.”
